Recently retired from my professional vocation, I now am developing an avocation. Having been a long-time vacation photographer using 35mm film, I am discovering and exploring digital photography which lends itself to a new and exciting approach to creating impressions. My main current interest is in finding and/or creating a more unusual or abstract impression from the captured image. With every visual stimulus I look for a shot, knowing that there are pictures present at all times which are either pleasing to view or thought provoking.
