First Thursday Art Rush provides an opportunity for visual art galleries and presenters to showcase current exhibitions and activities. The event is modeled after hundreds of others that happen across the country. Many local merchants stay open late, galleries and special interest businesses in the area offer opening receptions or have short programs scheduled.[¹]
